1st Global and Envestnet Partner to Launch New Reporting Platform

DALLAS — Feb. 26, 20181st Global, an independent wealth management partner to exceptional CPA wealth management firms and financial advisors, today officially expanded its partnership with Envestnet to serve as launch partner for its new Vision platform – an enterprise data management solution that seamlessly combines intelligent data, machine learning and advanced analytics to deliver client-centered insights.

“Effective management of client data and your book of business is table stakes for high-performing financial advisory firms in today’s world,” says 1st Global President David Knoch. “Advisory clients need to know where they stand compared to their goals and this tool empowers financial advisors to focus on coaching the client through what’s next.”

Originally announced at Envestnet’s Advisor Summit in May 2018, Envestnet Vision combines investment data, consumer data, analytics and performance measurement and uses machine learning to deliver holistic insight into a financial advisor’s business. The data management solution addresses common challenges wealth management providers and financial advisors encounter in managing their business, such as difficulties with gathering data from various product providers, the inability to import market and competitor data into internal reports, and challenges with adapting from conventional systems such as books and records data.

1st Global’s partnership with Envestnet began in September 2016 when the company chose Envestnet for its portfolio trading, model management, accounting and reporting system – a keystone piece of its Enterprise Empowerment Initiative. Team members from both 1st Global and Envestnet have worked vigorously over the past six months to gather, import and quality-control check client data from multiple systems in order for 1st Global advisors to be the first in the industry to have access to the new system. 1st Global has officially launched advisor-facing capabilities and expects to release the client-facing components later this spring.

“Actionable intelligence is the key. Advisors are faced with the challenge of navigating an increasing number of disparate systems for their client data, but more importantly, how to convert that data into actionable intelligence,” says Jud Bergman, Chairman and CEO of Envestnet.

“Envestnet is highly committed to building out the most comprehensive wealth management platform that empowers advisors with the information they need to drive better financial outcomes for their clients, and ultimately improve their lives,” Bergman said.
