Creating Engaging Videos: Keep It Simple

Scientific studies on web design suggest he was on to something: the more visually complex something becomes, the lower its visual appeal. Forcing the eyes and brain to work harder to decode and process information only leads to confused viewers, and confused viewers click away almost immediately.

Simplicity is key — both in your message and in your visuals. Don’t let your audience get lost in industry jargon or be distracted by something going on in the background.

If you want to hold your audience’s attention, you need to keep it simple.
